Two weeks ago, Askinadzi suffered a stroke, but is now out of the woods and going home with his faculties and memories intact. This is his last interview before the stroke scare (scroll down for the video). Vladimir Mihaylovich is one of the last "mammoths" of his era. There are no more people like him.

I do not want to be the proxy for all the outpouring of welcome home greetings, so instead, I came up with a brand new map for you. Send your prayers and warmest wishes for his recovery by pining the map. It is only available in the Dyatlov Pass Forum. It looks like this:
