The witness testified: about the tenth of February 1959 we i.e. two Anyamovs and I went hunting on Lozva river. We were short of Ural Mountains about 15 km. On the hunt we saw narrow skis traces of hikers that went along Lozva river. Traces were covered with 4-5 cm of snow. We did not meet or hear the hikers. I don't know what happened to them either. But during the elections on 1 /III 59 in the village of Burmantovo I heard that the hikers were missing, and I said that we saw ski tracks of the hikers while we were hunting on Lozva river.
When we were on the hunt, I saw traces of wolverines and wolves. Wolverines can eat dead deer and humans, but wolves don't eat dead deer. There are no sacred mountains where we hunt, and according to the Mansi tales I know that it is in the upper sources of Vizhay river. There are no sacred places in the upper sources of Lozva river. It is known that now Mansi do not go to pray in the prayer mountain, young people do not pray at all, and old Mansi pray at home. I heard that five hikers were found frozen. I don't know anything how did they die. It is written correctly, I have read it.
