Night at Dyatlov Pass
The chance to spend the 66th anniversary of the tragedy night February 1-2, 2025, on the exact spot, in a replica of the Dyatlov group tent with a burning stove similar to the one Dyatlov used is priceless. You will recognize the amount I am raising as the title of my book 1079. This will greatly help me with the travel expenses.

Spending the night on the exact location was in the plans for Expedition Unknown.
On this key trip I am (1) bringing to the Mansi the 13 kg leather working tools, I was given by a generous soul in the US, (2) taking part in winter experiments on the location of the incident, and (3) presenting at the annual conference in memory of the Dyatlov group in Yekaterinburg. I will be giving away signed author's copies. I am entitled to some free copies from the Russian publisher, in lieu of any payments to me.
If Kholat Syakhl allows me, I will videotape the path that the Dyatlov group allegedly took from the torn tent to the cedar and ravine where their bodies were found. I have secured a professional-class metal detector, which we will use in our summer expedition to further investigate the area.
