Memorials

In 1962, next to their graves in Mihaylovskoe cemetery, a monument was erected with pictures of all nine members of the group. Also in 1962, on that pass on Kholat Syakhl mountain, a group led by Valentin Yakimienko set a memorial plaque saying:
"In memory of those who left and did not return, we name this pass on Dyatlov group"

The Pass has been called Dyatlov Pass ever since.
