of finding Dyatlov group tent

28 February, 1959 Prosecutor of Ivdel, Jr. Counselor of Justice Tempalov in the presence of witnesses: comrade Maslennikov and Vadim Dmitrievich Brusnitsyn, address Sverdlovsk, Sheinkman St. house № III, apt. 31, Mihail Petrovich Sharavin, address Sverdlovsk, Vtuzgorodok, 9 building, room № 201, Stepan Nikolaevich Kurikov, address Ivdel district, the village of Suevat Paun, wrote this protocol about the finding  of the campsite of  Dyatlov group. The overnight stay is located on the Northeast slope of mountain 1079 at the source of the Auspiya River. The campsite is located 300 m from the top of the mountain 1079 on a slope of 30°. The campsite is on a platform leveled with snow, at the bottom of which 8 pairs of skis are laid. The tent is stretched out on ski poles, fixed with ropes, 9 backpacks with different personal belongings of the group members were laid down at the bottom of the tent, on top of them are spread padded jackets, storm jackets, 9 pairs of boots towards where their heads must have been, trousers were also found, three pairs of felt boots, warm fur jackets were also found, socks, hat, ski caps, dishes, buckets, stove axes, saw, blankets, products: crackers in two bags, condensed milk sugar, concentrates, notebooks, route plan and many other small things and documents, and a camera and accessories for the camera.

All items were transferred for inventory and delivery to ... the base to the head of the search group Evgeniy Polikarpovich Maslennikov, for which this protocol was drawn up.

There were no bodies in the tent.
